Part – B:

1. About :గురించి, చుట్టూ, మీద, దగ్గరలో, షుమారు.

Examples:

a) about her – ఆమె గురించి,

b) about 7O’ Clock- షుమారు 7 గంటలకు.

c) about the room – గది అంతటా [The books are lying about the room]

d) about the field – స్థలం చుట్టూ [He put a fence about the field]

e) about to go – వెళ్ళ బోవు.

2. Above – పైగా, పైన, అధికమైన,

Examples:

a)      above your Head – నీ తల పై భాగంలో .

3) According to –  ఆ ప్రకారము

He acted according to my instructions –అతడు నా సూచనల ప్రకారము నటించాడు.

4) Across –  గుండా, ద్వారా, అడ్డముగా

across the street- వీధికి అడ్డముగా

5)After –తర్వాత, పిదప వెనుక, వెంబడి

a) after 6 O’ Clock – 6 గంటల తర్వాత .

b) after eating-తిన్న పిమ్మట, తిన్న తరువాత .

c) there after –అటు పైన

d) here after –యిక పిమ్మట, యిక పైనా.

e) after you –నీ తర్వాత

6) Against-వ్యతిరేకముగా, విరుద్ధముగా, ఎదురుగా

a) against the door – గుమ్మానికి ఎదురుగా

b) against the law- చట్టానికి విరుద్ధముగా

7) Along – వెంట, కూడా, గుండా

a) along with them- వారితో కలిసి

b) along the road-దారివెంట

8) Amid (st)- మధ్య, నడుమ ( amidst the trees)

9) Among (st) – మధ్య, నడుమ, లో (among the leaders)

10) Around- చుట్టూ, అన్నివైపుల  (around the house)
